
So I've eaten these yam guys before many a time. Usually at Thanksgiving or Christmas and usually my momma makes it. I am usually the one who peels these guys and watches them cook.

So today I made this guy. Nothing too fancy, just boiled him in little pieces first.

Then added the real butter (cause everything is better with real butter--including weird veggies) and brown sugar. I smashed it up a bit to be kinda like mashed potatoes. The mashing failed, but they tasted really good.

I always just bake them with the skins on. Then you add butter and brown sugar when at the table.
ps. I use the same butter.
