Played around with my watercolours tonight while watching House.
I like them, they are so pretty and delicate. Its not dry yet, the top heart was about to drip, so I had to hold it at an angle. I like this size of canvas board, but I am kinda chicken to use a big canvas and I don't want to wreck it.
I have ideas for my bigger canvas...but I need to get some stuff for it.
I also got some great books from sally anne, the mothers encyclopedia and a mother goose nursery rhymes book. They are old and in rough shape, but have some awesome vintage illustrations in them. I don't know what to use them for yet, but it will be something cute and collage like.
The one book for mothers is funny, its got things on how to raise kids in the 60's. I shows pictures at the end on how a childs room should look at different ages.
