Wedding Pictures

As you can see by the title, I have posted some new wedding pictures for anyone who's interested. There are way lots more that I shall have to scan and put on, these are digital taken by my friend Dave (Stephanie's boyfriend...shes the redheaded bridesmaid).
I have ceremony pictures, and more formals, and I am being pressured to get off my computer so someone can use it to play the Sims2. Its only my computer, but its alright, its coming to Vancouver with me on Sunday!!! yay! I have so missed it.

Aww the boys looked soo cute. Earl is on the left and the Matt is on the right, hes the best man.

It was sprinkling outside, but not too bad. My friends were text messaging me all morning because it started raining. I had like 21 msgs in my inbox on my phone. They were all concerned. It was cute. I wasnt too worried about the rain. I was only concerned about it raining during the ceremony (which it didnt, thank you God).

Thank goodness I was sitting on plastic, my parents think of everything when they take pictures.

It was sooo windy on the docks. Poor girls were soo cold. The boys gave up their jackets for us for a while. Mikaela got my shawl.

Value Village!!

We were shopping in chilliwack with Mikaela, Mom, Aria and Tony.

Went to the mall, and then went to value village to try and find Mikaela pants.

Me, Aria and Tony were a little bored...I personally love looking at the fur coats they have, and all the weird knicknacks. We got a little carried away. Oh and Halloween commeth, and that brings all the tacky costumes to that thrift shop! Oh man, even if they didnt have the cheap costumes, they still have awesome clothes to dress up in. My Aunty Laura bought us crazy clothes that sparkled and glittered from there to dress up in when we were little.

wedding pictures...

it is finally finished! I am kinda glad the whole wedding thing is done, Tony is too.
It was lots of fun and stress, but it was great.
I am not the kind of person to have a lot of people always watching me, so it was a little scary at times.

Now, what you have all been waiting for, some formal pictures from our photo shoot. Stephanie's (bridesmaid) boyfriend Dave took these. My Dad took the ones on film, so they are not developed yet.

kurtas

She really should post her india stuff on her blog, but since she hasnt, I shall show you her neat clothes from india.
Some have bits of mould that wont come out ever, but they are still pretty.
Kurtas are what they are.
She had to wear them every day she was out there I think.
I wore her favourite one with the black fat fisherman pants (which were amazingly comfortable).
Mik wore the pretty blue pants one and aria wore the one with mould on it a little.

My blog has been pretty boring with no pictures, so here we go!
Been pretty busy planning the wedding, but I had to show you some new additions to the family.

Davy is the light brown one, davy is short for Davy Jones.
Then we have little Jack (Captain Jack Sparrow) and Elizabeth. Jack is the little black guy.
They are cute. Davy freaks me out a little with his big kickers.

It was my dads birthday today.
Ran out of candles, so he got a very lovely red flower candle on his favorite cake.


You can tell you are getting old when.....oh man. He should probably get glasses soon lol.

Isn't she lovely? ya, dinner will not be the same without them that is for sure.
Aria made me a very awesome sideshow, it made me cry.
I will probably cry when I see it again on Sunday, I am hoping not though.

sooo busy...

so since aria has been home, we have been immersed in wedding details.
so much to do :P ugh...I will be happy the day of and probably glad when its all done.
get to wrap party favors and make little things.
too busy right now though. I will post the picutures when its all said and done.
I am going to go out and go shopping for more stuff now :P

Shes on the Plane!!!

She just emailed to say she was leaving! Shes coming tomorrow! Very EXCITED!!!! We are probably gonna be at the airport a few hours early just in case. Got presents for her today. Me and Mik went shopping at the mall. Mik did well, no whining and she was wonderful. Man that girl can talk me into spending all kinds of money :P I had fun though.

Maybe I should clean my room now that aria is returning. Hmmmmmm I can do that later. I could pack more of my stuff too, but I hate packing. Such a procrastinator I am.

Bah I will never get it done tomorrow, so off to clean I go.

Could it be???? We were told a package from aria would arrive, and we thought it was stuck in customs, but no, it finally came! Aria has to be here first before we can open it :( *sigh* oh well.
Its neat looking, pretty primitive. It was sealed in wax dots all along the seams, and its a cloth like material on the outside.

He he I cant wait to open it! Aria is home on the 5th!

the UPS man came!

Mikaela is gone to camp, so it is just the three of us at home :) Dad went to work, and my mother and I were watching some sort of tv show when the doorbell rang. Thinking it was mikaelas friends wanting her to play, I answered and was suprised! the UPS man was on my doorstep with a package for me! WOOOO the mac stuff is here!
This is what I ordered Jennifer :

3 brushes, and the seedy pearl eyeshadow. I had ordered one more thing, but forgot it, and its coming in a few days I expect :) FUN FUN FUN! *I also added my face primer with sunscreen stuff in it. Got that a little while ago.*

more weekend fun

Mom and Dad took us to Vancouver to check out places to live. We didn't have much luck. Called a bunch of places, left messages, got nothing. Checked out a bachelor suite. I figured it would be small, but I had to see it. It was half my bedroom with a kitchen, and the kitchen is like a converted closet. The bathroom in that place was up the stairs on the next floor. When you walked up the steps, you felt like you might fall through the green fake carpet through the rotted stairs. yay! We shall see what God has in store however and I trust that he will take care of this.

Went to a Mexican food place in Vancouver, it was YUMMY! had a chicken chimmichanga! it was sooo good!

When everyone eats beans on the way home however, makes for an interesting ride back. the windows were rolled down some of the time.

I ordered some really neat mac makeup and am getting it soon! hehehe makes me excited!

the weekend...

Was busy! Did makeup with Jennifer on Friday, learned a ton...and then proceeded to purchase some things from mac online and I cant wait to do it all :) Thank you again Jennifer for hanging out and showing me cool tricks! hehehe. Checked out the newspaper for apartments and was very disappointed in finding nothing that was cheaper or close to where we want to live in Vancouver :P frustrating. Checked the craigslist and responded to ads, however have no response to any emails. More frustrating! ARG!
Hmmm....scanned a ton of pictures to the computer for wedding stuff. Got flowers sorted out, must now get a place to live still, read the rest of harry potter 7 before anyone spoils anymore of it (stupid la senza sales lady). I was up till 2 am reading it because I wanted desperately to finish in a day, and that hasn't happened, but hopefully will tonight.
Up until the wedding will be sooo busy, and I am stressing out, but its ok. things are getting done kinda.

Going to find something entertaining for you all. My last pictures weren't that great.
Oh, and my parents rented "Breach" and it was very interesting if you are into fbi spy movies.

This was when we were making the invitations...I almost got him in the face with a red fingerprint hehe.

The flood that never came...

This is what we did to prepair for the flood that might have hit us. Thankgoodness it didnt, cause the shower exploding poo water was bad enough, and I cant imagine what a whole basement of water would be like :P

So, Mom, Dad, and I moved everything from storage and all the valueable basement items upstairs. The only place to put everything was Aria's room because shes not here :D

The cat loved sitting up high supervising. They went nuts while we moved, they raced around the house and chased eachother. Kiwi was wiped out and fell asleep on my lap right after. Smiff got lost downstairs and cried helplessly until mik found her.

She hates moving.

Mosquito's and more

Bah!!! Silly internet explorer 7 will not load any other windows right now, so I shall just have to wait until later to try and make more comments.

Work was boring, the americans have their holiday, which is not one day but probably going to last until monday. Man, its almost like Christmas for them again but in July.

Soooo what else does July have? The harry potter movie and book! I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!! Also, Family BBQ is coming up, I am excited about that as well, get to see all you long lost cousins again.

Mikaela's bday and Aria's Bday are coming up...what do they want? hmmm....must find something quick, Miks is coming up soon.
The mosquitos are all over the place, I hate them! They greet me in the morning as I leave my house and sing in my ears when I try and sleep. Man, I regret taking down my netting that hung over my bed. I might use that stupid electric zapper and keep it next to my bed at night. I really hate that thing, but it works. Those bugs make a nice sizzling noise whent hey get hit, sometimes they pop.

So, I shall have some pictures to post later on, I dont have any new ones yet :P

sad momma

I was setting the table tonight for indian food and mom noticed that I set the table for 5 instead of 4. She got really sad. She asked why I had to make her sad. She said its depressing eating indian food and looking at an empty plate.
Poor momma.

(I unintentionally had an extra place set when Grandma came over the night before. Dad didnt eat anything cause he had just woken up).

Grandma also visted the land of blog, she even posted a comment on aria's last post.
I helped her, it was cute.

It's so cute. Very different than the other girls in terms of style, but the colours are the same.

The lighting didnt do it much justice, but oh well. She will probably be the one wearing the highest heals that day (I went for comfort rather than style).

Had to hold the back of the dress so it didnt fall down, now all we need to do is take it in a little.

Mik pursuaded me to draw with chalk today.

It didnt dawn on me that it was a morbid thing to do until afterwards. Too late now. I wanted to do more, but it was really hot to make her to a bunch. There was one of me, but its too hard to see in the picture.

Living in the "armpit"of the world...so to speak

One of the many places Calcutta has been called.
Aria should be there pretty soon, or now. Mom and I looked at the weather forcast for them. 40 degrees celcius in the day, and then it "cools" down to 30 degrees or so at night. I cant even imagine the dehidration she would probably get, or the frustration with her not being able to sleep. Poor Aria. Darjeeling shall be better, with 20 degree highs and lows at night at about 7 degrees. Only a week in Calcutta which is good.
Dad is home, maybe we can eat indian food and crank the heat and pretend we are in india (minus the dirty water :P).

Chopsticks

Went out for sushi on thursday. Larissa and I have had it before, but Brittany has never done anything like that before.
Larissa mentioned that some older lady one time went walking around the restruant hollering "wheres my fork?!?" and Brittany was stunned that there were no forks or spoons really to eat with, and all that was provided were chopsticks.
Took Brittany 25 min or so to kind of get how to use them (kindof).
She created an invention so it would be a bit easier, and now I shall let the video explain...

come again some other day. *sigh* I could have cleaned my room, or evicted the spiders from the downstairs bathroom, but no, I sat around and watched tv and played games and did nothing. I guess I needed a day of nothingness to get me back to cleaning and all that.

Theres a half eaten snickers bar beside me and a season of CSI. Now the question is: is it such a good idea to watch an episode of CSI before bed? Maybe I shall try and pick a "tame" one. Ya right. Cant leave the snickers opened and alone for more than a day. In this house, chocolate goes missing if left like that. You have to mark it with your name generally, or my mother will find it.

Not watching M*a*s*h again. The episode where Nick gets burried alive was really good, but creepy. Bah, I think I shall take my chances and watch it.

wanted: an Ark...

Since I mentioned at work that Chilliwack might flood, everyone went into a almost panic.
My friend Larissa is now worried about her new house and couches and has printed off the Emergency Flood Checklist so she wont go unprepaired (it includes goggles, playing cards, and a saw).
Oh man, everyone is in a tizzy!
I live in a basement partially underground, near 2 dikes and a flood wall. Yippee for me! If the weather gets nice all week (like the good ol weather man says) I will be moving my stuff upstairs and everything thing else in the basement! :P
Yay for camping out in the living room!
Maybe the flood wall will hold....maybe the dikes will be fine....maybe I wont have to pay rent if I find myself in a foot of water when I wake up....hmmmm there is a pro to the whole flood thing.

Harry potter and the order of the pheonix (newest trailer)

Tee hee hee hee Its out!!! The newest trailer, and I am so Excited. Gave me goosebumps!!!
Oh I cant wait, and also cant wait until the final book is out as well.

a typical day...

Oh and my day went like this:
4:30am- got up, got dressed and all that, stumbled upstairs, jugged the rest of moms coffee
5:00-got to work, the computer was really slow (like me).
6:00 ish-getting busier at work, everyones starting to get in.
8:00-busy busy busy, no time for anything, 11 people waiting for me to answer, they arent doing their jobs, making my job harder.
9:00-hang out with beth a bit, talk about her czech friend, and the new czech words he taught her.
10:00-2:00- busy busy at work again, lazy agents again, too many calls, and 2 supervisor calls that could have been avoided if the agent didnt put them on hold for sooooo long ( I would hate being on hold for 15 min too if I had better things to do).
2:00pm-go in the van, drive off to abby, rent chairs and tablecloths for wedding with momma.
3:00-visit grandma, she shows me her pretty silk blue flowers she made for the cake table.
5:00-get to mcdonalds for mc happy day (an excuse to get happymeals for everyone to support the ronald mcdonald childrens house things). The Mc donalds toys were cute, shrek and the cat we have right now. Need to see shrek 3!!! Spider man 3 --NOT WORTH IT - :P
6:00-hop on msn, nobody really there, read blogs and stuff...
7:30-shower, find a spider in the bathroom, I am needing a dustbuster or something smaller than can suck up a spider, cause I hate squishing them and then cleaning spider guts.
8:00- America's Next Top Model!!! One episode left after this one.
9:00-Bedtime and then we get to do it all over again

Lock down confirmed!!!!

Reports are correct folks!
Some stupid children brought toy guns to the Highschool down the road.
The streets are blocked off and the cops had all the kids in school lined up and were frisked and searched.
Mikaela, I am sorry I was doubtful, I didnt think that this would happen to us, let alone, a school down the road from us.

Stupid kids. Hope they are punished for freaking out the whole community.

Lockdown

Mikaela says some kid pulled a gun at her elementary school today. She says this explains the helicoptors flying around above the school. Hmmmm...Shes also upset that the school is doing a mock lockdown incase this kind of thing happens, but the mock lockdown happens tomorrow.
Hmmmm I wonder whats got helicoptors flying around above the school. I can hear them, I live down the block from the school.
Dad and Mik went to investigate....

Dashboard Confessional - Stolen

I love these guys, this is by far my favourite song from them.

In the living room, we have a big shelf full of knickknacks and candles and pictures. Since Aria is gone, we have been collecting things to give her in her little packages.
Mom will forget unless its somewhere she can see it all, so we throw it all on the top shelf.
We accumulated quite a bit of stuff up there, mom lovingly calls the shrine of Aria.

Well, I was being silly and made it look more like a "real shrine". hehehee

But something was still missing....CANDLES!!! hehehee Mom was a little weirded out, and made me take it all down after I was done with the camera. She was giggling though.

I didn't have incense, but thats ok, I dont like it anways, it can get a little too strong for me.

Oh, and wedding stuff is getting done slowly. Have a MC, and getting the pastor done this monday, and then on to other things like cake, dress altering, and finding of tuxes (not mobster ones that tony wanted---I dont even know what he means by that, and he doesnt either, his friend thought they were cool.) Pfft...Boys. They can have sunglasses and be "cool". I am looking forward to getting the cake and food stuff all done. Gotta dig up them white mini lights I used to have in my room. (Used to have them nailed up around the room in the townhouse,they were white and some were rainbow). Oh the decor of a 15 yr old.

Night of the Meatloaf

Normally I dont like cooking dinner when I am told I have to.I like doing it when I want, not when I am told. This will change of course when me and Tony are on our own, and I will have to get used to it. So, I found the loaf pan and Aria's meatloaf recipe card, and went to work at it.

Never had made something like this before. This dinner is more hommade than what I am normally accustomed to making (sidekicks and frozen veggies mixed together, and I like to believe they are "good for you" when you add veggies, but man, they must be high in sodium and chemicals, but the veggies must be good.)

I hate mixing things with my hands because I hate the feeling of meat under my fingernails, and my fingernails are short. :P I was mixing away, the meat felt like brains, it was cold. I was by myself for a while and noticed that the

Cat was overseeing the whole operation. She loves sitting up there on the cabnet beside the fridge, cause its warm. Tony came upstairs and I recruited him to be my potato minion. He peeled them all so nicely for me :) I tend to peel my fingers cause I am careless. He did well and didnt peel fingers.

Hes here for a bit because hes done school for a bit.


This over here is my meatloaf with "aria's secret sauce". The recipe card was quite cute, but I cannot post it due to the secrecy of the recipe.

Mikaela, who is picky about things with sauce on them, approved of the meatloaf.

There you go Aria, it was a success. I also enjoyed making dinner, and might even do something like this, again. Hurray for food thats not prepackaged!!! hehe and as I write this, I am going to make me some sidekicks and veggies for lunch tomorrow. Oh well.

In aria's room

I hope you enjoyed my photoshoot in Aria's room. I just watched the taped "America's Next Top Model" and felt inspired. Although I am far from model, it was so fun to dress up in Aria's clothes and mess up her closet (only a little and yes we put it all back). We didnt snoop as the picture implies, mom suggested it as she got to be the photographer. Could have gotten a better shot of the cat if she hadnt been so upset that I held her for all of 30 seconds. Stupid camera shy animal.

Anyways, I am going to get to bed, getting up early tomorrow :P

RRROLL up the Rim to win...

Ya right! I was doing well this season, won a few for my mom and dad, but one day, I rolled up the rim prematurely...a third of the coffee left. Since then, havent won a thing since. I think the premature rolling cursed me.
Now the one who wins is my mother. Yes, shes had a good winning streak. She also gets "lucky fingers Mikaela" to roll her rims. That kid never loses.
I think this is the only time I really drink tims coffee or tea though. I enjoy the excitement of rolling the rim, even if I know I wont win.

Computer art...

Hope you enjoyed my art. I love photoshop, dont know what I would do without it.
You also have mail coming, mom and I sent it this morning. Also, made sure the flower lady was booked for the wedding. So glad I am done with picking flowers....never thought there would be so much you needed to know about them. I dont have a clue what half the names of the flowers are, or what they look like as long as they are pretty I dont care. At the meeting we had with her, it felt like I had to care about every little flower in the wedding. Pffft! dont care, make it pretty and have some blue flowers in it so it matches the colours. Oh well, should look really nice now. Got my favourites in there (lillies). Love the smell of those.
I shall be off, momma has leftover chilli warming up, and I am hungry!

Be My Scape - Reliant K

:D I get to see these guys tonight!!! This is one of my favourite songs from them. Mikaela is so excited! Shes bringing most of her money so she can buy a music book and a t shirt.
After the concert, we are staying the night in vancouver and then going shopping for Mikaela at metrotown for a dress for the wedding. Everything is about her pretty much, and shes loving every minute of it.

After easter...

Feel a little sick from eating bunny, and the sugar rush is wearing off, and now the sleepy feeling is setting in....
Church was good, there were like 12 children in the nursery where mik was helping for the first time. It was a little overwhelming to see them all screaming at the end. She said they were good until the last 5 min. Poor kidlets.
One was making noise just because and it sounded like crying, but it wasnt. what a cutie.
Tony was there, and he was a little scared of all the kids crying all at once. It was pretty loud, even for me. Told him not to worry, as we wont have 12 kids all crying at once.
Made him feel better, but not much.
